FATE'S FAULT

A BRAND NEW BOOK FROM HP - AND A CO-AUTHOR!!!

Attention HP Oliver fans! Our favorite author has collaborated with a young lady to bring you a new thriller. It holds the familiar great story telling of HP and a feminine romantic touch from his co-author. It is set in a future I hope we never see but having said that, they offset hope by using ingenuity. It's not our friend Johnny but it is still an enjoyable read

A Fun Ride!

A fun ride with good characters and pacing. Wanted more at the end!

Fate is not always kind . . .

Kevin's life is tossed around like... well you'll see.

Not everyone would be able to juggle catastrophic events, a rekindled love and a journey barely ahead of Fate's Fault!

The characters are believable and crisp. Each is dealing with the circumstances as best they can and learning to lean on each other.

A romantic thriller that will have you checking the maps to see where they end up next!

A great patio read for the summer!

~Gary Alan Henson

An excellent fast paced thriller (actually a romantic thriller) and I liked it!

This book differs from most of H.P. Oliver’s other books. Instead of a historically based mystery, Fate’s fault is a contemporary time frame, with a thrilling plot as the characters deal with record breaking earthquakes in California and into Nevada. But the primary story is Fate pulling Kevin and Kieley together again after drifting apart from a former relationship. As they try to evacuate from the disaster, they gather a friend and make new acquaintances and cope with uncertainty and the emotional toll of the disaster.

Fate’s Fault is hard to put down as the reader is pulled forward through the events old man Fate places in front of Kevin and his group. The story is rapid paced, and I read the book in just a little over a day, which could make it ideal for a summer read or during travel.

A bonus for HPO books is his website which has “Visualizations” – snippets of the story and images that give a sense of place. Following along on a tablet browser along with the Kindle app enhances the enjoyment of the story.

HPO and co-author Tiare Peña delivered an excellent book combining a tragic natural disaster, human frailty, love, and the resilience of the human spirit in difficult times.

A Great way to pass the time.

This was a good and solid read, not usually the type of book I read but when I was reading it I could stay focused on it and read a little too long a couple of nights. It is interesting to see what will happen to them in the next book if they have another one. Enjoyable and Fun!
